The guys at TBM recently took one of our Satmap Active 10 Sports GPS units out on an adventure. They’ve sent us a few photos and were hoping to try get a copy of the article that we can upload. In the mean team, if you haven’t already, I suggest you get hold of the latest issue.

Adventure Peru Motorcycling

We are a UK based company specializing in motorcycle adventure holiday trips to Peru, South America. Our friendly staff are all experienced bikers with the sole aim to make your holiday with our company the experience of a lifetime, seeing the ‘real Peru’ frequently away from the tourist routes. You will be riding our Suzuki and Honda bikes ably guided by our senior guide biker and back up team which includes a mechanic, linked to our offices in Cajamarca, Peru. Our lead guide biker is English and speaks fluent Spanish having been in Peru for over 20 years. Our office manager in Cajamarca is Peruvian and speaks English and Spanish.

TOUR 1. 3 WEEK NORTHERN TOUR

A 21 day excursion that not only takes you to some of the lesser known places in the northern Peruvian Andes, but to Pacific resorts and the high Cordillera Blanca – the highest tropical mountain range in the World. We take you to the snowline and to the best nightlife in Huaraz and Cajamarca. More suitable to riders with at least some off-road riding experience. An unforgettable journey. Our senior guide having travelled all of Peru deliberately chose to live in this area.

TOUR 2. 3 WEEK NORTHERN MOUNTAINS & CLOUD FOREST
A 3 week tour that will take us through the Northern Mountains and world renowned Cloud Forest.

TOUR 3. 2 WEEK NORTHERN TOUR

A 2 week tour that will take us straight up to those high places of the Cordillera Blanca and Huaraz but not missing a few days over by the Pacific Ocean and seeing Cajamarca , the historical capital of the department and cultural centre of the North. For the several local excursions we do out of Cajamarca see later section in web-site.

TOUR 4. 4 WEEK SOUTHERN TOUR
This southern tour of 28 days takes us to those places you will already know something about – Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Lake Titicaca. Not only that but we pass along beside the Worlds second deepest canyon (The Colca River Canyon) and stay at the beautiful white stone city of Arequipa. This tour is suitable for riders with at least some off road experience.

TOUR 5. 3 WEEK SOUTHERN TOUR

On this tour we visit Cuzco, Nazca, Lake Titicaca and the Colca Canyon – but leave out visits to Ayacucho, Andahuaylas and Moquegua. It is a route suitable for all riders with or without off-road experience. We leave the Panamericana Highway at Nazca to climb up to Abancay. From Abancay the itinerary is similar to that of TOUR 3 until we leave Puno and take the road towards Cabanaconde with a visit to Arequipa city two days on.

TOUR 6. 10 DAY NORTHERN TOUR
This tour is a shorter version of TOUR 2 above.

TOUR 7. 1 WEEK PERUVIAN RAINFOREST TOUR
This is an add-on tour to any of tours listed above. An opportunity to have a jungle experience with our APM staff as guides on this tour. Experience bike riding on jungle roads, visit Iquitos & stay at a jungle lodge.
